It’s a special day over at Twisted Sketches! The card portion of the the sketches is celebrating it’s second anniversary! So all the girls have joined in on this week’s sketch, where the twist is “two.” My use of “two” is not very obvious. So I’ll share a little story, that I’m sure many can relate to…maybe!!! I am hoarder. I buy pretty crafty things and am scared out of my mind to use them. It’s ridiculous, I am always thinking I will regret it using all the pretty things I just bought! It’s so silly and when I’m not in the craft room I think to myself, ”Self, just use that paper/ribbon/flower/button/etc…., really it costs no more than $2, the price of that coffee you just chugged from Dunkin’ Donuts. And really, Self, just buy more if you still want it….” And then after my thought, I trek into my crafty space and stare longingly at all my pretty crafty goodies, and still don’t use my favorites. I am a hoarder. Soooo…when I made this card, I used lots of favorites. And yes, it was scary! And yes, I need to do this more! It makes crafting way cooler than it already is! So there it is, my loong undercover story about not hoarding $2 worth of crafting goodies.

My “hoarded” items are from the October Afternoon Sidewalks collection, including the designer paper along with some bits from the paper sack and a tin pin. And don’t forget to join in over at Twisted Sketches! Use some hoarded stuff!! Do it!
